Our services are delicate in process, implanting pigment in the utmost layers of the skin. Proper technique and placement is what creates a semi permanent enhancement. The skin is the human body’s biggest organ, which is why there are so many factors to for you and your artist to evaluate evaluate prior to committing. Below is a comprehensive list of contraindications for your review; if you are still unsure as to whether or not a cosmetic tattoo is the best option for you, please email Katie to inquire. DO NOT BOOK IF….

  • you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • you are prone to keloiding or scaring.

  • you are allergic to alcohol or heavy metals.

  • you are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation.

  • you have been on Accutane within the past 12 months.

  • you have cardiac valve disease or a heart condition of any kind.

  • you have an autoimmune disease or hypo/hyper hypothyroidism.

  • you are a minor - you must be 18 years or older to receive a tattoo, no exceptions.

  • you have an active skin condition (ex: psoriasis or eczema) or excessively sensitive or irritated skin.

  • you are diabetic (controlled cases must provide a doctor's note with consent to proceed at least 72 hours prior).

  • you have any ongoing medical complications or medications that you are unsure about - please consult with your MD.

EXPECTATIONS

Treatment results are unique to each individual and may vary based on aftercare, health and lifestyle. Your artist will speak with you about aftercare specific to your treatment and guide you with any special instructions needed for your skin type. Once you leave your appointment it is up to you to follow the aftercare provided. Most clients receive just two treatments and are able to obtain the desired result however some may need more.
