Katie’s professional background developed in the Brand Marketing world however, after receiving Microblading herself, she left intrigued and inspired; and just one month later she began her own training under Melissa Byrne of ARCHES in Sonoma, CA. Since mastering Microblading Katie expanded her skill set to include machine techniques and earned certifications from international industry masters: Maya Moore of Moore Beauty Love, Janine Wallace of Brow Jam and most recently Carla Ricciardone of Sculpted Studios to name a few.
It was through Microblading that Katie was able to realize a new business venture and expand on her personal passions: creating connections, creativity and enhancing beauty naturally. With her keen eye for details, Katie proudly launched Oakland Glow Studio in 2019.

Initially trained by O|G Studio founder Katie Larson, Jocelyn's curiosity of all techniques exploded once she got her bearings in the art of Microblading. With over 25 years experience in the beauty industry, cosmetic tattooing allows her to combine a deep appreciation of art with her love of beauty. Jocelyn continued with more advanced practical training and opened her own Tatouaz Studio in Ukiah, CA in 2022.
Once grounded with her own studio, she was drawn to the concept of restorative tattooing. Jocelyn has trained with industry giants such as Jody Stoski and Ink Boutique Houston. Being able to offer services that change someone's life and lead them into a phase of healing is inspiring for Jocelyn and she feels that there is no bigger joy than helping to restore self confidence. She is not just a service provider, but a guide for clients providing compassionate care and awareness around body positivity.
Jocelyn is based out of Ukiah, CA but as an Oakland native she proudly sees clients on a monthly basis at O|G Studio.
